Barney expressed that he wanted to do a photoshoot that harnessed the energy and expression of Prince. He sent me a photo of a candelabra with flowers as inspiration and I immediately was like “YES.” He was very open to exploring the idea of fluidity in androgyny and a new version of himself. I chose a blue velvet backdrop to offset the color palette of the flowers & pink candles. I’m still really proud of the work we accomplished together and was grateful to be a part of this very special EP, Doll City.
